This scale is kind of weird, because one can like someone, but not be the sort of person who introduces them to all ones other friends, or indeed even approve of the things ones friends do. That's certainly the way I feel about most friends' PhD projects.

What is the "I stalk you intensively," "comment on all that you write," "steal your photos and repost them as my own," and "participate in bizarre debates on your wall" area of the friend spectrum called? Because I know a couple people that need to be assigned to that spectrum.
